DNA Apparel & Design is a clothing line inspired by Deoxyribonucleic acid itself! Everyone's DNA is one-of-a-kind; therefore, everyone’s fashion sense should be unique. Fashion reflects your characteristics and who you are, just like DNA! We believe that fashion should reflect who you are as an individual. Why wear what everyone else wears? Be you! We embrace individuality; and, what is more individual than our very own DNA?

About Us
Mark and Richy are the creators of DNA. They have been best friends for a little more than two years. They are both attending their freshman year at Drew University. They are also currently dorming together, even though they could not request to live together. On their free time they hang out with their friends, watch indie films, watch project runway, make short films, check out thrift stores, and lots more. Together they make an excellent team, providing the world with a new perspective of fashion and film.

Richy Villa doesn't quite know what he wants to do for a career yet, but for now, he is heading in the direction of Psychology. Richy is from Roselle Park, New Jersey. Some things people may not know about him are that he plays Rocky in the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Bellevue Theatre in Upper Montclair, where rich yuppies live. Richy loves indie bands such as Velocity Girl, Metric, Elefant, Hot Hot Heat, Belle and Sebastian, and the Postal Service. He is also very much into a lot of good films such as, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Kill Bill, Harold and Maude, The Eye, Dancer In the Dark, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Amelie, and a lot lot more. He is very mini, and has a hard time finding clothes that fit him the right way. But luckily with his new SINGER sewing machine he got for Christmas he won't be having a hard time customizing his clothes to fit him the way he wants them to fit. Richy learned a lot about sewing machines from his Grandpa and using his machine which was probably used at the turn of the century. Richy also graduated third in his high school class and got many scholarships to college. Richy has also been obsessed with the Wizard of Oz since he was a little boy. Richy’s designs are more simple and classic with subtle differences because he himself is simply classic. He has a good heart, doesn't eat meat, and prefers hugs over drugs and alcohol.

Mark Tauriello wants to be a filmmaker and a fashion designer when he grows up. Although his college offers nothing for fashion or film, he is currently trying to get classes elsewhere as well as programs started at his school. Mark is from Irvington, NJ the second most dangerous town in the state of NJ. He is damn proud of it too. Mark is obsessed with zombie movies and hopes to enter a zombie film to a film festival sometime this year. He likes to experiment with film, fashion, hair, and music. Some of Mark’s favorite movies are Kill Bill, Ghost World, Dawn of the Dead, Battle Royale, Run Lola Run, and Nightmare on Elm Street. Markie is also really into synthesizers and listens to bands such as The Start, Briskeby, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, Bloc Party, The Faint, etc. Markie gets his clothes at thrift shops, because they are cheap, and H&M when he wants to spoil himself. Mark hopes to be incredibly rich someday. He also hopes to win the Cannes Film Festival, get onto the T.V. show, Project Runway and design an outfit for the Icelandic singer Björk. If he could go one place in the entire world it would be Tokyo, Japan because he is amazed by their neon lights, fashion, culture, film, and vending machines. He is currently learning Japanese on his own. Marks design focuses more on color and breaks the traditional rules of fashion. He, too, is a vegetarian and loves to rep' for the drug-free community.
